Magu ge ondhu gida,
shaalege ondhu vana
Fostering environmental stewardship from the roots.
At PGRSS, we strongly believe that the journey toward a greener planet begins with young minds and local spaces. The “Magu ge Ondhu Gida, Shaalege Ondhu Vana” initiative (translated as “One Sapling for Every Child, One Green Forest for Every School”) is a visionary step toward combining environmental education with grassroots climate action.
This unique program encourages every student to plant and take care of a tree while transforming school campuses into miniature forests, promoting biodiversity, increasing green cover, and nurturing a lifelong connection between children and nature.
