Swachata Abhiyana
(Cleanliness Drives)

Empowering Communities to Embrace Clean and Healthy Living

At PGRSS, we believe that cleanliness is not just a responsibility, it’s a collective movement. Our Swachata Abhiyana initiative is focused on creating cleaner, healthier, and more livable communities by organizing regular cleanliness drives across both urban and rural areas of Karnataka.

We engage local citizens, volunteers, school students, SHGs, and panchayat members to participate in cleaning streets, public spaces, schools, parks, water bodies, and marketplaces, all while spreading awareness on hygiene, sanitation, and environmental care.

  • Plastic-Free Campaigns: Promoting alternatives to single-use plastic and encouraging responsible disposal.
  • Public Engagement & Awareness: Door-to-door campaigns, nukkad nataks, and interaction with local vendors and residents.

Our Goals

  • Create a culture of civic responsibility and environmental consciousness
  • Improve sanitation and hygiene standards, especially in low-income and underdeveloped areas
